8 The first challenge we faced as Co-Editors was deciding what our goals would be. Our first objective was to have a Christ-centered yearbook. and then to have unity among the staff, and last but not least to have professionalism. We then chose Pro- gression as the theme. using Psalms l:l. 2. and 3 as the foundation. Many times during the past year we've wondered what has gone wrong: why the panic-stricken deadlines, why the constant all-nighters. However, we do have to admit that weive enjoyed this year because the good times have out-weighed the challenges. We feel that our weekly Wednesday night devotions helped the staff to keep on going when the going got tough. The staff as a whole has been unbelievably faithful. and we give our highest praise for their striving toward a Christ-centered CHIMES. We also want to express our special thanks to our Assistant-Editor Deb Mershon and our Head Photographer Bruce Cobb. T We sincerely hope that in the next few days as well as years to come you will enjoy reading and sharing this annual with others.
