A Cappella Choir And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it and fear and shall trust in God. Psalms 40:3. This verse was chosen by the A Cappella Choir in preparation for its annual tour. During the week the choir had opportunity to present the work of Temple Schools and to see souls come to the Saviour. In May the oratorio SAMSON by Handel was presented. The forty-two voices blended in Handel's beautiful melodies as they portrayed on the stage the closing hours in the life of Samson. The choir is under the direction of Mrs. Fred Brown whose capable leadership and dedicated ability are a challenge to all who know her. MRS. FRED BROWN, Director 128

The Glee Club Mr. James Palmer has molded this organization into a unit of well-blended voices. The presentation of Handel's MESSIAH was one of the major productions of the group. Accompanied by the orchestra, the beautiful strains of this masterpiece brought inspiration to the audience and honor and glory to our Saviour. Another highlight in the activities of the year was the spring tour of thirty-eight members of the Glee Club. This was a new experience in the history of the chorus as they represented Christ and the Schools in the Southern States. | will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever... MR.
