c Freshmen honored during first Week on Tech campus Freshman Week at Tech is focused on the new students on campus and is used to introduce them to university life. Upperclassmen, as well as faculty and ad- ministrators, make an all out effort to welcome freshmen in becoming an active part of the university. Students are on hand to help freshmen move into the dorms, show them around campus and answer questions that might arise. Freshmen were given a chance to get acquainted with their fellow class mem- bers at a dance featuring the Poor Souls. A reception held in Memorial Gymna- sium gave them a chance to meet their fu- ture instructors. A picnic on the quad honored the new Tech students.
