Edward Graves, director of bands, Benjamin Kirk and Leonard Giles, assistant band directors. have carried on the traditions ofthe Aristocrat of Bands. This year the bands attained new heights under their direction by being declared Best Band during the Cincinnati Invitational Jazz Festival. Tom Ervin. executive director of WTVF-TV tChannei 5L presented a check for $25,000 to President Humphries and Athletic Director Samuel Whitman toward the completion of the scoreboard in the Gentry Complex. 29
