She stopped wlth me for a few hours' v1sit at Josee Van Busk1rk's truck farm ln Maryland. Josee informed us that Sylv1a Wlse had a dude ranch 1n Texas In New York we went to Kate Mann's apartment. D1d you know that she 1S now ln charge of Maoy's Store? In the even1ng we heard Betty Jo Gardner's concert at Carneg1e Hall. It was lovely. afterwards we talked wlth her and learned that Betty McEacheran was on her way to Australla to get married I attended my f1rst faculty meeting last nlght. Now, dearle, get ready for a shock The new coach was none other than our great athlete, Eugene Meneghettl. SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY Los Angeles, Callfornla May 28, 1953 Dear Nell: You'll never guess whom I ran 1nto the other day or rather who almost ran lnto me Well, anyway here 1S what happened I was crosslng the street at the corner of Hollywood and Vlne when suddenly a great big car a whatcha call 'em? , Rolls Royce, came Wh1ZZ1ng around the corner, and lt had to h1t elther a lamp post or me Well, lt h1t the post But the drlver, as soon as he saw who I was, sa1d he wmshed he had hit me 1nSt68d, and when I looked at the front of that beautlful car, I almost died Almost, I said But here I am rattllng on and on and haven't told you who he was Maybe you've guessed by the speed at Wh1Ch he was dr1v1ng Yes, Jim Imler. Now here comes the real shock Just then a pollceman walked up and you'll never guess who he was Prepare yourself! It was Chet Fuller Yes, really! Well, we started ta1k1ng, and Chet sa1d he had recelved a letter that very day from guess whom? None other than Carl Yant1s and Paula Schaefer who w1th the1r four chlldren are l1v1ng happ11y on the1r beautlful farm. Oh, I must tell you about my V1S1t to the Paramount Studlo where a movle entltled nUnder and Over 1S belng made from the book by the same name wrltten by Lesle Wherrett I suppose you read the book when you heard one of our classmates had wrltten a best seller The star 1S Mark Grable Of course, you know who Mark is 1n real 11f6 Fellx Noskl. Remember hzs slster Dorothy that beautlful brown eyed g1rl who took the secretarlal course?
