TEHISCO At the begmmng of the second semester Halold Renfroe left hlgh school to attend buslness college ind 4 ladxs Downy dropped ou In 1920 when We entered as Jumors our numbe1 had decreased to e1ght lncludlng Rose COIXIH Alfred Carr Otha Angell Mama Jacobs Jeanesse Harman Bern1ce VIcArthur B1ll1e Shore and May Mayes Thls yeal our class was exceptwnally popular belng almost all made up of g1rls We took leadmg parts 1n all school act1v1t1es and many took a leadmg part 1n the annual hlgh school play We entertalned the Senlors at a pleasant p1CH1C at P119Qt Po1nt Park The features of the day were a baseball game ln Whlch the Jumors won a rock throwmg contest and eats Th1s year we held Jomt meetlngs w 1th the Sen1o1 class and chose as our officers M1tchell Angelel and Bern1ce McArthur In September 1921 we entered as seyen dxgmfled senlors Aga1n we changed Prlncxpals our new p1ofesso1 bemg Vlr Jewell How small we felt compared wlth the other classes for our hlgh school had lncreased from about fifty puplls to ox er ont hundred But we consoled ourselves w1th the old adage of Quahtv not Quant1ty Alfred Carr was chosen as our presldent and Clara Taylor as our Secretary Treasurer Haung prey 1ous experlence 1n hlgh school llfe we trled to be an lnsplratxon to the other classes Thls yeal we were not vely strong 1n all 3thl9t1CQ SIDCQ Alfred was the only boy but the glrls made up for It 1n Basketball Three of our members were stars on the glrls basketball team We also took leadmg parts 1n the glee club At mldy ear Nola Reedy an act1ye member had sufficlent credlts to graduate and left the Tenlno hlgh school At the same t1me Alfred Carr our only boy moy ed to Callfornla thus leavmg us a very small but peppy bunch of fiye gnls Clara Taylor Jeanesse Harman Rose COIXIH Bernlce NIcArthur and 'Slay Vlayes On thls account we w ere more than populal 1n all school functlons At our first meetlng 1n the second semestex we chose Jeanesse Harman as our presldent From then on we were yery busy flfllShlIlg up our hlgh school work and preparlng for graduatlon S t 4 L I - 1 1 1 1 Q ' '1' , ' 1 v 1 . . .1 1 I K.
