Show places for visitors are the high-ceilinged reference room, and the browsing room. where reading is for pleasure only, and study is forbidden. Equally of service, however, are the efficient periodical room, reserve booh room, and the business library , and the stacks, now containing more than 150.000 volumes. The Library maintains its own bindery, and a microphotography laboratory, for reproducing books and manuscripts in miniature size. 16
