I'm proud to be writing this letter to the class of 2018. Every one of you has just completed the most challenging and rewarding four years of your lives, and I am honored to congratulate you on this achievement. Moreover, I want to tell you that you are what makes Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine greatl Our clinics, laboratories, classrooms and dormitories are nothing without the energy and passion of the students within them. During your time here at TUSPM, you've seen changes In faculty, upgrades In our facilities, and the encouraging progress of a school on the cutting edge of podiatric medicine. This has been your school and your home, and you’ll forever be a part of it. As you proceed to your post-graduate training, you'll each carry a piece of Temple with you, and you can proudly be recognized as Temple University graduates. You will always be connected to TUSPM. We have given you the finest training and education in the nation We have given you vakiable clinical experience In a way that is unequaled in our profession. And we have given you the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, so you can begin to make a difference in the lives of patients. Now it's time to take your first step on your next journey. Because you'll always be a TUSPM graduate. It's up to you to carry that degree with competence, compassion, and success. Your patients will demand the expertise you gained here, and as you enter your own practice and develop connections to the community that you choose to be a part of, I ask that you never forget where you began. You have worked tirelessly to earn the right to cany the degree we have bestowed upon you.
