Jacob D. l assman, DPMI Ithaca College B.A. History Before I thank all the little people that made this possible, I'd first like to thank some really big people... Dad: If it wasn't for your inspiration. I would not be where I am today. I cannot thank you enough for your encouragement and support through the years. On a lighter note, it's a good thing everyone has two feet: I’ll need to borrow a few to get started! Mom: You have always pushed me to follow my dreams and work hard while in school. It has finally paid off and I’m now a Podiatric physician. Thank you for always being there when I needed you. Tony: You drove me to be disciplined in my studies and to focus on my goals. Ever since I was young, you have steered me towards diligence and I thank you for that. Chnssy: Thank you for supporting me these past two years. I’m looking forward to the next big ‘step’ in our lives. Friends and Family: Thank you for every thing you have done for me. 1 could not have done it without you. Peter Kim: a.k.a Yoda. The force is strong with you. Thank you for educating us all on discipline, respect and a true passion for knowledge. Do or do not. there is no try! Congratulations to the class of 2004! One of my favorite quotes from Seinfeld (the post cabin burning episode): George says to student: “Hey there young fella. Have you picked a major yet?” Student: “No . George: You might want to think about Podiatry...Nothing wrong with the feet! 26 Jacob D. Fassman, DPM

Everett E. Ferradino, DPM Youngstown State University B.S. Biology There is divine beauty in learning, just as there is human beauty in tolerance. To learn means to accept the postulate that life did not begin at my birth. Others have been here before me. and I walk in their footsteps. The books I have read were composed by generations of fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, teachers and disciples. I am the sum total of their experiences, their quests. And so are you. Elie Wiesel Heavenly Father: Thank you for the mercy you have shown and for the blessing of salvation through your son Jesus Christ, that I may spend eternity in your presence. Thank you for all that you teach me. Thank you for never giving up on me. but for always being there ready to receive my repentant heart. 1 am always grateful and in awe of the love that you pour out on your children when we make even the slightest move in your direction. I acknowledge that all of my growth, all of my accomplishments are blessings from you. O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise: you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down: you are familiar with all my ways... ...Search me. O God. and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me. and lead me in the way everlasting.” PSALM 139 Ann: When I saw you I fell in love. And you smiled because you knew. - Shakespeare You arc an example of what God was speaking of in Proverbs 31. The Wife of Noble Character. Thank you for your endless support of my dream. When I started school here at Temple a professor told you and 1 that my degree would be earned as much by you as it was by me. How true! You worked very hard to ensure that my learning environment was the best it could be. You have sacrificed a great deal in support of my dream. By your example. I will strive to do the same for you. I love you. Everett E Fertadino. DPM 27
