I will hold in confidence all that my patient confides in me I will maintain the honor and the noble traditions of the medical profession. My colleagues will be as my family I will not permit considerations of race, religion, nationality, party politics or social standing to intervene between my duty and my patient I will maintain the utmost respect for human life. To continue the improvement of knowledge and skills for the benefit of patients and professions. To conduct the practice of podiatry as a credit to the profession. To never accept limitations that might destroy or interfere with the exercise of best judgement and skills or the quality of performance. To regard the confidence and information received from patients with professional care and understanding. To fully offer service and participate in the health pro grams for the public in keeping with the integrity of the profession. Bohdan Terleckyj, M.S. IN MEMORIAM The entire PCPM Community suffered a great loss when Bohdan Terleckyj. M.S.. Assistant Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, passed away on January 16. 1997 at the age of 48. Mr. Terleckyj received his baccalaureate and masters degrees from Temple University and spent his entire 22 year professional career at PCPM teaching podiatric medical students and conducting research that contributed significantly to the profession. His skill and dedication to teaching and the genuine care he had for each of his students was rewarded by being selected as teacher of the year on three separate occasions. To his colleagues, he was always ready and willing to help when called upon and his motivation was never for personal recognition, but for the good of the institution and the profession. Bohdan Terleckyj had a positive impact on all who knew him. His students who learned from him and his colleagues who worked with him are better for having had that experience. His passing will leave a void. Bohdan Terleckyj will be greatly missed, but the memories we have of him will always bring a smile and will sustain us. 4 I3CHTH AT RACE STREET • PlULACELPHlA. Applied Mathematics Farshad Bathaee, D.P.M I came to this school with a lot of uncertainty and confusion. Vs the years went by. the uncertainty of the future became bigger and bigger to the point that not one day went by that 1 didn't think about it. Meanwhile classes got harder and harder, and days longer and longer. At times I thought this was a suicide that was going to take four years—How painful! There were happy moments which seemed minute at the time compared to all the hardship and frustrations-applying for residencies and filling out those sheets for Ardan who was always at lunch with Tammi. But I guess one thing never changed and that is the love of my parents and my sister and brother. My parents were always there It) cheer rne up—sent me food, my brother was my best friend, and my sister the one I cried to. i guess unconditional love is even better than a residency program. I made some friends and might have hurt others. I'm sorry for the ones hurt and happy to have known my friends. And then there was Bmilio. It was fun to have lived with him It was fun taking those trips--Hershey. Boston (shame on you and Sherri). D.C. (Hay'you doin?). APMA news... I think he's the only one who truly knows what I went through in the past 4 long years. Thanks for understanding... You're looking for THIS?? By the way PenPlax never wrote back. To Class of 97--I would've wanted it any other way. It was the best class that could ever be at PCPM and we all know that. Good luck and best wishes to every single one of you.
