We were all younger then, and you were e very eager and enchualaeclc group of students. If you recall, 1 asked you to believe In us and to rsaeaber that we believe In you. 1 told you we expected you to add lustre to this College's excellent reputation. Tou have—and will continue to add lustre to PCPM. We have developed a strong sense of trust with you and I knov you will be fine Doctors of Podiatric Medicine. After successfully coaplatlng these past four difficult years, you should be able to rest on your laurels . Right? Wrong! As you finish this foraal education, you era now challenged and required to continue studying the rest of your professional life. Science Is advancing rapidly and if you are to aalntaln the expertise you hold today, then you aust stay current with scientific knowledge. Tou will need to read the scientific Journals and attend continuing education sessions when they are given. On another subject, the health cars systea Is In a period of aany and great changes. Tou will want to keep Informed. Kany of the changes will affect you. Maintain contacts In the systea and you will fulfill the role awaiting you. If you are not Involved In the changes, you nay be left by the wayside. We will face aany probleas In the years ahead and If you are not part of the solution, you will be part of the problea. Get Involved. Be a leader in your cnaannlty. Let your opinion be known. Don't be reluctant to challenge authority when you know you're correct and, above all, aalntaln the Integrity that you have developed here at PCPM.
