Dear Mom Dad, I don’t understand this camp P.C.P.M. There’s no grass, no place to park, and the Liberty Bell is still cracked. I woke up this morning and was awed by the beautiful view of Eddie’s Tatoo Parlor and enjoyed the sweet country smell of one day old Chinese food, diesal fuel and the bums roasting on the subway vents within the confines of our campus. Our first activity was an endurance event called Orientation”. The competition started easily with coffee and donuts; however, people started passing out during the Anatomy history. Don't worry, it’s all on tape. While all the guys were sleeping, one tall, skinny kid was scoping out girls and tantalizing them with his Sea Breeze” Cologne. As if this isn't enough excitement for one day already, Head Counselor Hoffer capitalized on our alertness. She said something about a pony and camp getting a lot worse before it becomes better. The next day started early with fire engine Reveille. Our first activity, Embryology, was as useful as Assistant Counselor Newman. The few test questions Harrington gave us were inversely proportional to his amount of alcohol consumption the night before. Our next activity was held with Uncle Frank. Nothing else looks like him! He tells us stories under the starry nights while some kid known as Gumbara cheech” and his bunk mate seemed to be very concerned whether or not Uncle Frank runs a residency program. BARKY CORN Our third activity lived up to its name It’s gross”. This activity taught by a Junior Counselor, Bobby Boyd and his round assistant KEN MINTZ, an Olympic triathalon winner. Some campers were here before the season began at a program known as SARP, (Slow and Retarded People),

Last week, instead of being bored with Biochemistry, the girls' camp played an intramural football game. Captains, lead their team with pride as if they were trying out for the ultimate schneiding team . . . . Last night I had a terrible nightmare. I found my hand rotating around my pencil from dorsal medial distal to plantar lateral proximal. I get the feeling that I'll be playing with my pencil a lot throughout the next 3 years. Please send money!! I wish you were here. Dear Mom and Dad, Why did you send me back to camp. Mrs. Gurney, Mrs. Kay, and Mrs. Zabner didn't send their kids back. I am beginning to hate it here. Things like mandatory attendance and Micro are running me ragged. Our first activity this year was podium back diving taught by Roman Dzarski. After considerable practice, several campers could actually do this from the sitting position.
