As the abilities of chemists to synthesize, isolate, and characterize new compounds grew and as biologists learned more about the action of drugs and about biological mechanisms in health and disease, the search for new drugs gradually took on a more rational basis. SENIORS are the major components of the school of pharmacy. They are the future, the ingredient necessary for the profession to continue; future pharmacists of America. The past three years we have spent together as a class have been in preparation towards a common goal, a B.S. degree In Pharmacy. At times it seemed as though the only thing we had in common was our goal; however, despite this thought some invaluable friendships have evolved. May 29, 1986 denoted our commencement day. For some this date marked a new beginning, one filled with endless opportunities to develop our skills. For others the day will be remembered, for it is the end of a scholastic journey shadowed by endless nights of sacrifice and study, along with grueling Monday classes and exams after a weekend spent working towards internship hours. Commencement. . . the beginning or the end? Memories . . . are reminiscent within each of the photographs to follow.
