SNPhA The Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) is the student auxiliary of the National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA). SNPhA was established in 1972 and NPhA was founded in 1948. The SNPhA chapter at Temple University is also affiliated with the Greater Philadelphia Pharmaceutical Society which is the local NPhA chapter for the Philadelphia area. The goals of SNPhA are many. Paramount among these is to provide health care information and counseling for minority and underpriviledged communities which are often neglected by other health professional organizations. The organization also undertakes to promote the profession of Pharmacy to minorities by increasing their representation in the field, and it strives to develop the leadership qualities of its membership. Secundum Artem Secundum Artem is a yearbook run by the students of Temple Pharmacy School. This year the staff of the yearbook attempted to put together a book with a touch of uniqueness. The staff had a multitude of responsibilities which included the following: raising funds, organizing the book and selling it. All in all it was an experience that will never be forgotten by those who were involved in the creation of the yearbook. 25
