ARTHUR GELMAN 260 S. Third St.. Philadelphia, Pa. “A.G.” is a young inan who likes “almost everything and dislikes “almost nothing. Arty is the best example of one who gets along with everyone. His fame as a thespian spread during his junior year when he acted and sang in Damn Yankees. Although Art’s attitude appears to he lackadaisical, he seems always to wind up getting what he wants. Activities: Kin Pi Phi. Mortar and Pestle Players. HARVEY GILBERT f 673 Lebanon Ave., Philadelphia, Pa. That pleasant smile and warm handshake belongs to none other than Harvey. “Gils , as his friends call him. is a hard working student and has the grades to prove it. He spends his spare time enjoying jazz, playing basketball and tennis, and even manages to find time for the opposite ?»ex. LOUIS M. CATTO 644 Monroe Ave., Scranton. Pa. Known to his friends a- “Luigi.' Louis- is originally from Dunmore. Pennsylvania. Among his attributes are good speaking ability, leadership, and sports. He has participated in Student Council activities ami was Regent of Kappa Psi Fraternity in his senior year. He showed great athletic ability in intra-fraternity sports. His favorite subject is undoubtedly pharmacology’, second only to women, beer, ami sports. In his freshman year Louis was awarded the Rexall Scholarship. Activities: Kappa Psi. APhA. PPA. Newman Club, Student Council. Mortar and Pestle Players. ROBERT GAl’DREAU 233 Roxborough Ave., Philadelphia. Pa. Rub commuted to school from his hometown of Roxborough. just 3 hops. 4 skips, ami 2 jumps from school. He was active in many school sports functions. especially football and bowling. Resides going to lectures, Rob found enjoyment in dances, fraternity parties, and mailing out newsletters. Rob was a member of Kappa Psi Fraternity for four years. Activities: Kappa Psi Fraternity. ALFRED GILGORE 244 alt ham Park. Hammond. Indiana Rest known for leadership of a comlio, Alf and his group have been heard at many functions around the school. He is a great follower and lover of jazz. Being features editor of the Temple Triturate, Alfred has shown an interest in humor, journalism, and sports. His chief dislike is the eight o'clock class. Although leading a combo kept Al fairly busy, lie still found time to participate in such organizations as the APh.A and the PPA. He was also quite active in his fraternity. Rho Pi Phi. Activities: Rho Pi Phi, APhA. PP A. Temple Triturate. BARRY GILLES 1719 N. Marshall St., Phila.. Pa. “Dobie , as is his fictional counterpart, is quite a ladies man. In fact he has to go all the way to Brooklyn for a date. Barry is probably in the best physical condition of any brothers of AZO fraternity. You can always find him lifting a barbell or two in his spare time. This training has enabled him to become one of the best guards in AZO football history.
