Jack's witty sense of humor came in handy when, time after time on his frequent trips home, car trouble developed. “Will they send a tow truck or a wrecker this time?” His numerous accomplishments include making hard cider, rigging up stereo peakers, playing tennis, and a command of Yiddish. He is truly a “Jack of all trades.” Activities: Kappa Psi, Newman Club, APhA. PPA. HARRY CAPLAN 1218 Stirling St.. Philadelphia. Pa. “Cap” is a cheerful, carefree fellow with a smile a minute. As a member of tin- “Old Garden crew, Harry can't be found in tin- cafeteria during lunch. Being an avid student of the twist, he always induces u waitress to stop and twist with him. Even though he dislikes early and late studying, he has exerted sufficient effort to attain scholastic honors. His gentlemanly conduct ami respect for others have gained him many friends. Jack” as he is known by his friends is a quiet and unassuming young man who is respected and admired by teachers and peers alike. Jack, who served in the Air Force for four years, speaks with the voice of authority. When he talks, we listen. Jack's popularity is readily evidenced by the fact that he is vice-president of the I.F.C. ami parliamentarian of Phi Delta Chi Fraternity. Jack's likes are sports, books, good jokes, and especially his beautiful wife, Helen. There is something about his demeanor that guarantees his success. SAM JOSEPH CAPONE. JR. RD 2 Box 300. Avoca, Pa. This big-hearted gentleman is always eager to please. His Big Cadillac made a well-appreciated bus to Mass each chilly Sunday morning. He thrives on Italian food hut dislikes Chinese food because it isn't filling enough. Sammy is thoughtful and also very extravagant —docs things in a big way. He claims to hate studying and being kept waiting but is usually patiently calm through it all. Sports he enjoys include football, baseball, and bowling. We all wish Sam success in direct proportion to his size. Activities: Kappa Psi, Newman Club, APhA, PPA. MARIA CIFFAREI.LI 1618 S. 18th St., Philadelphia, Pa. Always a vision in pink —hats, coats, gloves, shoes, suits as well as dresses. Maria is sorority president. an active participant in all school functions, and is always around when there is work to he done. Annoyed hv teachers who are late for class but then show up. she is always ready with a smile and some good advice. She is a favorite with the professors. The CifFarclIi home is famed for superb Italian style spaghetti dinners. Maria’s unselfish devotion and untiring efforts on behalf of the class will certainly be remembered by us all.
