And lastly, when asked if he would do anything differently, Dr. Schneck replies, Not at all! . He believes that he has found an optimal life style in which he is able to enjoy the work he performs and gets paid for it! It is with great admiration and sincerest gratitude that the Class of 1995 dedicates its edition of the SKULL to Dr. Carson Schneck, for it has truly been an honor to meet an individual who has so easily inspired and influenced others to seek higher expectations of themselves. MOO ERS Hoods represent a relic of medievalism in modem academic life. The hood's silken lining represents the color of the University, the velvet indicates the special area of study. The colors of Temple University are Cherry Red and White ; the Dark Green represents Medicine. Hoodcrs are individuals who symbolically bestow our degrees upon us. Each year the senior class chooses four individuals to place Academic Hoods upon us at our graduation ceremony. These distinguished individuals arc selected not only for superb quality of teaching, but for their hard work and dedication to the class and Temple University School of Medicine. Our four years in medical school have been made easier and more enjoyable by-individuals such as these, and they have served as great inspirations to us all. Hooders for the Class of 1995 are: Ronald F. Tuma - Professor and Chairperson, Department of Physiology and Assistant Dean of Admissions TUSM. Michael Wang - course director for Medical Physiology. Sarah S. Long - Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Section Chief, Department of Infectious Disease, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Concetta Harakal - course director for Medical Pharmacology. On behalf of the Class of 1995, the yearbook staff wishes to thank each and every one of you, for your time and guidance during the early stages of our medical careers. Dr. Tuma Dr. Wang
