Under the Presidency of 3L Mark Gallagher, the Brehon Law Society traveled throughout the Delaware Valley enjoying the Irish culture and learning about Irish legal issues. The group, in addition to its travels, presented several video tapes on the conflicts in Ireland. They included The Investigation and The Black and the Green. BARRISTER'S SOCIETY Barristers Society is a student run organization open to all law students interested i making Temple Law School a richer learning experience. The Barristers sponsor tu-| major American Bar Association competitions, plan trips to the Supreme Court arrange for speakers and social mixers. The competitions are called Negotiation whk is held in the fall of each year, and Client Counseling which is held in the spring of eacil year. Competing teams are judged by lawyers and judges from the Philadelphij community and winners travel to the regional competitions. The competitions pro idci structured opportunity for students to leam negotiation strategy and client counselir, methods; both skills which arc not leamable from a standard textbook.
