Geoffrey B. Caligan, D.M.D I lerndon, Virginia Wake Forest University I would like to thank my family and friends and anyone else who feels they deserve to be thanked for whatever it is they did to help get me through the past four years. There have been many long days and more than a few long nights. Some I can remember with amazing clarity; others arc a murky haze. Somewhere along the wav there were a few classes, a couple tests, some truly bizarre patients, and lots of meaningless paperwork. Hopefully I learned something useful and helped more people than I hurt. I appreciate those who helped me along the way and made my four years more enjoyable. 1 can't honestly sav that 1 will miss doing wax ups or setting teeth, but I’m sure I'll miss hanging out with my friends in the lab.... and at the bar, and working on a crappy boat, and road trips, and everywhere else we ended up. I would not have made it through the past four years without vour support. 'Hunks for putting up with me when I was tired, pissed off and generally miserable to be around (exam times, boards- just to name a few). I want to thank my family tor being there whenever you were needed, whether it was a home-cooked meal, some words of encouragement or even a little financial help. Thanks to all my classmates. I may not have taken the time to get to know you as well as 1 would have liked, hut I have benefited from my experiences with all of you. Thanks to all of the row instructors for helping me improve as a dentist. Thanks specifically to Drs. Hollingsworth, Lippincott and Whitaker for your letters of recommendation. The last four years have gone incredibly fast but will leave an everlasting impression on my life as a professional, and for that 1 am truly grateful.
