A Message From The Dean Class of 2002 T congratulate the Class of 2002 on their accomplishment! Four years of dental school is a long and arduous path to becoming a member of a learned profession. The good news is—as told to me by numerous recent graduates—that there is life after dental school. You should take pride in your achievement, and take pride as well in the education you received at Temple. Our graduates tell us of their growing confidence, as they realize their skills are equal to or better than those of their peers from other dental schools. The dreaded requirement system actually works! Our new alumni ae tell us they have experience in treating more oral manifestations, performed more procedures and have achieved a knowledge of laboratory technique far greater than those other graduates. Our graduates tell me they are making more money than they imagined and, perhaps most important, they are having fun doing it. I hope the Class of 2002 Finds not only pride but pleasure in the practice of their chosen profession. Sincerely,
