Four years of dental school is a long and arduous path to becoming a member of a learned profession. The good news is—as told to me by numerous recent graduates—that there is life after dental school. You should take pride in your achievement, and take pride as well in the education you received at Temple. Our graduates tell us of their growing confidence, as they realize their skills are equal to or better than those of their peers from other dental schools. The dreaded requirement system actually works! Our new alumni ae tell us they have experience in treating more oral manifestations, performed more procedures and have achieved a knowledge of laboratory technique far greater than those other graduates. Our graduates tell me they are making more money than they imagined and, perhaps most important, they are having fun doing it. I hope the Class of 2002 Finds not only pride but pleasure in the practice of their chosen profession. Sincerely, Faculty Dedication Class of 2002. Congratulations on your finally getting all the requirements and headaches completed. Of course this resulted in your getting that coveted diploma. Remember, be good to dentistry, and it will be good to you! Dr. Monasky From us to you, Thank you for getting us through removable the last two years of dental school. Robert Coming up to the counter each and everyday, seeking to get your instruments without any kind of delay. Sometimes you were courteous, sometimes very rude Forcing us at sterilization to keep a serene mood. Never keeping track of what is turned in to be sterilized Yet, holding up space in line just hoping we could make your instruments materialize. When we finally discovered there were no instruments to be sought, we would chase you away from the counter looking distraught. We became the lost and found of the dental school for on a daily basis there were lost items turned in to us: keys. bags, appointments books, wallets, just to name a few. After a while, we were able to recognize items of the few of you who were always losing things And even though you guys wrecked our nerves a lot we love you as surrogate family members and we will miss some of you. 158 Good luck in your Futures: Brenda McBone Sterilization Queens Baiiles-Rccve.
