Vincent T. Cammarato, D.M.D. Milford, Delaware Muhlenberg College B.S., Biology Table Clinic, Temple University Table Clinic, Liberty Dental Conference, Third Place American Student Dental Association Endodontic Study Club I.A.D.S., Vice President Well, it's finally over! It's amazing that four years are over and we'll be doing this for real very shortly. All and all, dental school wasn't that bad; for instance, I've learned who I don't want working on my teeth. I am, however, very grateful to be a part of the Class of 1994 because I don't think I've ever been around a group of people who spent all their time together and never really wanted to kill each other. I will admit, though, I have met some very good dentists, but more than that, I've met some great people. Good luck to everyone and their futures. 17

I couldn't have done it without all your love and support. And a special thanks to my husband-for all the good times and bad—I'm glad we made it through together. 16

Co placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all jtersons. Speak your tnith quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexation to the Spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always therr will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let thisnotblind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Net ther be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. .Many fears are bom of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You art a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with Cod, whatever you conceive Him to be. and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keefipeacetvith your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cartful. Strive to be happy. -Desiderata, Anonymous Found in Old Saint Paul's Church. It's been one of the most difficult, challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. And believe it or not. I'd do it over again if I had to—but that's only because of the support and love I've had surrounding me all the way. To my oh so tolerant husband, Christopher, to my wonderful parents and family, and to my very special and dear friends, (you know who you are,) I give my thanks and love. Dental School would never have been the same without you. 18
