In Memorium Calvin Leifer, D.D.S., Ph.D. 1929-1991 Dr. Leifer came to Temple University as an associate professor of Pathology in 1970, and was promoted to full professor in 1978. Besides teaching dental students, medical students, and graduate students, he was very active in faculty governance University-wide. He had received a research grant from the National Institute of Dental Research in the years 1972-75, and from the American Cancer Society in 1976. He was an active member of the International Association for Dental Research, the American Association for Dental Research, the American Association of Dental Schools, the American Academy of Oral Pathology and the New York Academy of Science. He is survived by his wife, Judith, as well as a son and daughter. 4
