This is a special year for Temple University School of Dentist ry. We have been honored not once, but four times. These pages are to recognize those members of the faculty and administration who have risen in the ranks of organized dentistry to hold high offices within their respective organizations. DR. JOHN L. BOMBA ’46 With his installation address at the 125th annual session, October 25, 1985, John L. Bomba, D.D.S., ’46 began his term as president of the American Dental Association. He spoke on professionalism and trust in association with “the concept of subjugating one’s own interest to the good of the whole,” and “the enlightened self-interest as opposed to selfish interest.” We are proud to honor Dr. John L. Bomba and extend our heartfelt congratulations.
