A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT Members of the Class of 1985: Few words come to my mind which seem appropriate in describing our dental school education these last four years. 1 have watched our primary concern shift day to day from the passing of didactic exams and boards to achieving the necessary clinical requirements in the allocated time. Each new day generated a different concern. In retrospect all of the concerns appear to have deminished in value and importance as we began to look beyond graduation toward the place we will hold in our society and in the profession. The one constant I have found is the close friendships we have developed and maintained throughout our dental education. The maintenance of these friendships and allegiances was the Strength of our class and what made the class unique. I hope after graduation we will all remain close in friendship as we continue on our own course in life. I feel privileged and happy to be able to call you all my friends. 1 want to thank each of you for granting the class officers the privilege and honor of representing you these past four years.
