The clinics, comprising a total of 187 operating units, are all located on the second floor. A separate entrance for patients admits them directly to a receptionist who guides them to the proper department. The restorative and general treatment clinics of the departments of Operative Dentistry, Full and Partial Denture and Fixed Bridge Prosthesis, the Endodontic Clinic and the offices of the heads of the departments occupy the entire west side of the floor. Along the south corridor are the clinics and offices of the Department of Oral Diagnosis with six dental and two medical examination rooms and a medical laboratory. Situated in the south east corner of the second floor is the twenty-four unit Klahr Children's Clinic (donated by the late Mrs. Louis W. Klahr) which adjoins the waiting room, offices, and demonstration rooms of the Department of Pedodontics. Next to, and communicating with the Children's Clinic is the ten unit clinic of the Department of Orthodontics with its offices, laboratory, and display room. 13
