Dr. Louis Zulli INSTRUCTOR IN' INTERNAL MEDICINE TEMPLE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF CHIROPODY Dear Doctor I write these salutary remarks to each of you as individual members of the class of ’59. It has been to my extreme gratification to have been associated with you this past year because of your diligence in your required studies plus the great interest shown to pursue even further any and all medical knowledge. The maintenance of this spirit is all important in your public professional life now being born. A few points that might help direct your Philosophy of a Professional are: Aim to present Chiropody to the very best of your ability at all times, both in and out of the office. Realize that professional reputation is earned, not bought or won through fragile devices. Keep studying. Remember that your office, its appearance, furnishings, equipment and its management represent your attitude toward your chosen profession and toward your patient. Begin, and keep alive, a close liaison between your patient’s family physician and yourself. In doing this, you will establish a firm concept of cooperation and teamwork concerning the attitude of your patient toward you and the physician toward our profession. Above all, be happy and proud to be participating in the development of a recognized branch of the healing arts. Louis P. Zulli, D.S.C.

Brotherhood and cooperation in the class of '59. have transcended the artificial boundaries of race and creed much to the benefit of ourselves and our profession. Now. as the time to part approaches, the bonds of unin between us must grow even stronger for only by uniting and working together toward a common goal will the future of podiatry be secure. In closing I wish to express the gratitude of every senior to both Dr. James Bates, class advisor, who for four years has been ready and willing to help us whenever called upon, and to the Tempodian staff for the many hours that went into making this yearbook possible ....
