Horace, in writing of human happiness, said that if all is well with your stomach, your back, your feet, a wealth of kings can add nothing. Enter your profession then, with the conviction that the thing you are going to do is as important as anything else in the world. Without that feeling, no amount of money will pay you for your time. DED CAT ON This is the hour for which you have worked. A goal has been attained. Now comes the time for setting new goals and for planning the methods by which they shall be reached. Prepared with the knowledge of your art—though quite naturally possessed with some feelings of uncertainty in this hour—and aided by the efforts of your older colleagues who hand to you this heritage to which they have added much, your future stands more secure, success and happiness more certain. The graduation of your class coincides with the 70th Anniversary of the founding of Temple University. The history of our University should be an inspiration to every Temple graduate. The growth of Temple University over the past seventy years has far exceeded the original aims and intentions of its founder. The success of the future development of the Chiropody School depends on the cooperation of our alumni.
