The rapid growth of institutions of higher learning in our country has reached the proportions of a national phenomenon. The Temple University Ambler Campus is keeping stride. New dormitories, to be ready in the fall of 1965, will inevitably be followed by additional classroom buildings and supporting facilities. You have been the harbingers as well as the beneficiaries of change, for no school can stand aside from the mainstream of educational advancement and no school can yield to change without reason. We invite your social and intellectual commitment as an active alumnus so that you can continue to share in the future of the Ambler Campus. It is not likely that we shall forget your waggish smile, your subtle humor, and your kind guidance. Horticulture and Landscape Design students will forever remember the botanical name for the famous Bee Tree and the dos and don’ts of laying a flagstone walk. Your students and others who have had the opportunity to know you will remember always the man who had such a concern for and interest in the welfare of Ambler, and who kindly listened and helped them with their problems.
