A PORTRAIT (Table of Contents) “A Portrait” 1 (Seniors) “Our New Beginning” 3 (Underclassmen) “They’re Moving Up in the World (Elementary) “Our Babies are Growing Up” 17 (Faculty) “Mommy and Daddy Hard at Work” 27 (Royalty) “Our Little Sweethearts” 31 (Sports) “Our Hero” 43 (Activities) “Our Candid Snapshots” 55 (Ads) “Uncle Tig’s Business” 79 “A PORTRAIT” Yesterday has gone and passed, leaving behind memories which last — We look back on yesteryear and smile; then we laugh or maybe cry a while. Those days are gone, but memories remain locked up in our hearts or a picture frame. Faded photographs of the homecoming queen, wrinkled clippings about the winning team. We held fast to our hopes, joys, and dreams. Candid snapshots of sweethearts and friends, How we wondered, “Will the homework end?” It seemed so short, the time spent together, But our memories and photographs will last forever. Alow towards the future we move on. And in our minds plays a familiar song: Yesterday has gone and passed, leaving behind “A Portrait, ” to last... So most of the observation I impart to you Will be first hand and absolutely true. Alphabetically, I will gladly encumber, Information equal to rank and serial number. To begin with, EVA is both noisy and quiet; She can say baloney, ham, “mershant, ” and knows how to write. BECKY’s giggle is her own unique sound; She can read, write, and also rebound. ISRAEL with the quiet smile and dark hair, Can often be found in an artist’s or computer’s chair. An enigma to even himself is DA V1D DIKES; He’s often found doing things that he likes. The next in line, is STACEY JO, if you please; She can write, parse, memorize, and tease. Next is LINDA, slender and tall; She loves wrestling and watching football. Pehaps the one I know best is DREW; He loves all sports and the women too. Then there is ERNEST, with a change of heart; Quickly he can run, and knowledge he imparts. TRISHA is the one with a necklace and crown; She has a quick wit and lives in town. P.S. in this case stands for PANTHA SHL YNN; She’s full of athletic energy and loves to win. MARIKA sits back soaking up tidbits; Maybe she’ll succeed in giving Brad some fits. Speaking of BRAD, he is both clown and scholar; Most expect him to make a high dollar. The tallest and most broad-shouldered is MATT; He knows about cars and all things such as that. At the end is SHEILA, because her last name begins “W; She is both a senior and a mother too.
