Some of them can be resolved while others need more planning. We at THS are indeed fortunate this year to have the capable school board and administration to provide the leadership that is always nec- essary to a school. The Student Council selection came as no surprise to anyone but Mr. Walker. His de- dication to his teaching, his leadership with the student council, and his devotion to the game of basketball provided the Council with more than enough reason and factual material for the choice. THS wishes him the best of luck next year as he and his family go to a new position, but we will miss him! Shelia Collier Freshman Shelia's friendliness with the students, and cooperation with her teachers, combined with her outstanding participation in school activities were the criteria used by the Student Council for selecting her as the STUDENT OF THE YEAR. She belongs to band, FHA, Pep Club, is the Vice-President of her class, was select- ed for the Oklahoma Honor Society, and received the awards of Perfect Attendance and Citizensliip from the freshman class.
