In order to receive a diplom a from Temple High School one must have sixteen credits. The usual procedure in obtain- ing these is four years of schooling-fresh- man, sophomore, junior, and senior years. From the freshman's point of view these four years look like an e t e r ni t y before him, but as they quickly pass by it seems to the graduating senior like only yester- day when he e nte r e d high school. With the passing of time each member of these classes advances in maturity, personality, and co-operation, as well as knowledge. He also develops many friendships that he will continue to carry throughout his life. As each student enters Temple High School he has a goal ahead of him. This may be college or a job after he has fulfilled his four years' work, but along with this hope he shouldbegin and go through high school with the sincere desire to better his school and be a credit to his class. If e ve r y student entering and leaving Temple High has this attitude, then he can proudly say-- I graduated from TEM- PLE HIGH SCHOOL! x A'! A 30 0 it Mit t J4 id-' fi-ff

Reaching their goal at last, the senior class of '55 will leave the familiar halls of TI-IS and strike out on their own separate paths of life. During the past four years this class has started from the bottom rung of the ladder and reached the highest, learning during this climb co-operation within the class and the true meaning of sportsmanship. The four years of high school are always looked back on with pleasant memories and it is certain that every mem- ber of the 1955 senior class will rem embe r these years as the fullest and happiest ones of all his life.
