MATH CHANGES WITH THE TIME This year, for the first time, Modern Math is being taught on a wide scale at T.C.H.S. This type of math is designed to help students understand theories of mathe- matics. Algebra l-2 is concerned with formulas for finding unknown quantities. Mr. Onderdonk Geometry deals with reasoning and logic. Using axioms and theorems, students discover why formulas are appli- cable. Algebra 3-4 is a review of Algebra l-2 and Geometry with additional mathematical applications.
