Office Practice and Vo- cational Secretary are de- signed for future secretaries. They give a thorough grounding in secretarial work, including the opera- tion of office machines. Business gives students a knowledge of business op- eration. Economic Education offers iob experience to in- terested students. Business Law deepens understanding of business operation, while bookkeep- ing teaches students how to keep office records and to record gains and losses ac- curately.

They learn how car engines operate. A knowledge of drafting is helpful in many fields, especially for those who wish to become architects or engineers. The course teaches students to read plans and make exact drawings. Wood Shop gives students an opportunity to work with various tools, and make house- hold furnishings. Homemaking courses are designed to prepare girls for their future as wives and mothers. Girls are drilled in cooking, sewing, and various other homemaking skills.
