Students would find life at Temple City High School almost impossible without the P.T.A. and a number of behind-the-scenes people. The purpose of the P.T.A. is to promote co- operation between parents and teachers. They send the uRambler to parents each month reporting the business of the administration, the school, and the district. They also sponsor fifth quarter dances after football and basketball games. New at Temple City High School this year are campus supervisors, Mrs. Ferber and Mr. Harding. They police the school, keeping law and order. The librarians, Mrs. Meeks and Mr. Hordt, are willing and eager to help students locate books and information. They check out textbooks to teachers and students. They also add many new books to the library each year. Sick and iniured students seek the aid of Miss Weber, the nurse. Always ready at poolside if an accident should occur is lifeguard, Mr. Hamlin. He also finds time to assist the coaches during tests in the various swimming courses. Everyday the cafeteria staff prepares lunch for hungry students and faculty. The custodians keep the campus pleasant and beautiful. They also clean up after careless students. Each day bus drivers bring students to school, bright and alert, and take them home, tired and weary. .A ,. . Bus Drivers: Mr. Davis, Mrs. Provost, Mr. Harper, Mrs. Richards. 16
