With files of information about colleges and jobs and their ability to help students in need, they are very helpful to students. Their offices are always busy helping students who need this time of individual atten- tion. Mr. Heyne, head counselor, is now helping Juniors choose those goals they will pursue after high school. 14 PREPARE STUDENTS Mr. Phillips, senior counselor, is assisting students who are making last-minute decisions about their fu- ture. Mr. Fuller, sophomore counselor, helps students decide what courses they will take in the future. A new addition to the counseling department is Mr. Brady, freshman counselor. Now each class has its own counselor.

Administration Forges Ahead Dr. Rand, Superintendent of Schools, being con- cerned with the broadening ot education, promoted many new learning experiences. The visitation of foreign educators and the seminars involving cultural exchange illustrates this point. Assistant Superintendents. Mr. Mason, forced to take a leave of absence in October, handed his duties over to Mr. Nielson, while Mr. Hawkins assumes the re- sponsibilities previously handled by Mr. Nielson. The School Board, led by President Klass, sets the policies of the school district and works with the student government ot Temple City High School. Mr. Camtield, principal, is now concerned with crowded conditions and the construction of new classrooms to alleviate this problem. ln charge of Administration is Miss Shephard. She works with the office personnel and teachers. She is also in charge of disciplining the students. The introduction of new methods for higher edu- cation is Mr. Bregoli's responsibility.
