Tempos Hold Annual Show Directed by Mr. Ben Godfrey, the Dance Band performed classical and popular numbers. The San Marino High School Auditorium was the scene of the annual Dance Band Show. One of the best shows ever presented, it featured the Dance Band, the Templets, the Temple Belles and talented members of the faculty. The Dance Band and the Templets performed the 'lPink Panther and llTequila among others. Much to the amazement and ioy to all, Batman and Robin, alias Miss Hubert and Miss Grayson, respectively, made an un- forgettable appearance. The Madrigals added the folk touch to the performance. Robin, Miss Grayson, and Batman, Miss Hubert, are on hand to demonstrate their skills. Templets, Dina Benson, Sandy Hardesty, Renee Macias, Linda Avels, Laurel Awsumb and Kathy Tiberti, perform the 'lPink Panther .

onscnr1e.Es.,f mo- G ENE l f f The most popular of all TCHS traditions, the T966 Inter-Class Competition Day proved to be the best ever. Never had the school witnessed such spirit. There were class seating and cheering sections, cheerleaders, costumes, suckers in class colors and eight big events. There was a wheelbarrow race, a tour-legged, three-peopled race, a bat race and a gunny sack race. A new contest, the girdle race was a real DNA T00 typical uDiogenes humor. W struggle for some. Four of the school's best eaters, one from each class, took part in the watermelon eating contest. The winners ot the Wiskerino from each class were de- cided, and Pete Arlotti won the big award. Sixty boys struggled in the tug-o-war, trying to drag each other through the spray from a garden hose. Mr. Harvey and Dr. Onderdonk referee the Watermelon Eating contest as Wayne Miller, Tom Thaxter, Dean Johnson and Tom Parkerson dig in. wwf. Mr. Langdale signals forthe contestants to get ready for the beginning ot Here are Seniors Greg Sowreyl Doug Sears, Dcye the wheelbarrow race. Heald, Bob Senne, Kip Burke, Bob Hauge and Craig Meyers.

Hollywood Movie Themes The annual dance concert was held on May 12 and 13 in Beckner Gym. This perfor- mance is the goal ot Dance Club. The dances were centered around 'xHollywood Movie Themes. Plans for the concert were begun in Feb- ruary. Members of the club worked hard on the scenery, props and costumes. All of the dances were created, directed and performed by the girls under the direction of Miss Margie Mohr. r .
