Not all students went. But for those who did, generally the major- ity of the student body, pep rallies were a time of fun, excitement and a chance to show school and class pride. Each rally featured some type of skit and a game to pit the classes against each other. The sponsoring Student Council did everything they could to make the events lively and exciting. But, due to teacher com- plaints, they had to meet demand- ing deadlines. There were no more pep rallies cutting into third period classes. This year, they ended on time! Freshman Katy Gallagher said, “They’re a lot of fun but they still drag sometimes.” During the Homecoming Pep Rally, a game pitting each raced to put on a pair ot shoes that fit and run back to the class against the other was played.
