A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL During the past four years, you have worked to meet Telstar ' s goals and stand¬ ards. Now that you have graduated, you have a tougher challenge. Instead of meeting Telstar ' s goals and Telstar’s standards, you must set your own goals and your own standards. I hope that your years at Telstar prepared you for this challenge that awaits you. K eep working hard, keep striving, and good luck to each of you in the future . DR. WAYNE GERSEN A MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT Telstar High School offers students many opportunities to explore academic, vocat¬ ional and social interests. Ten years from now when you dust your bookshelves you will hopefully look back at your high school years as having been bene¬ ficial to you. The problems associated with the tran¬ sition from school to the world of work are being addressed for the first time in SAD 44. I doubt if we can solve all the problems however, I do believe that with your cooperation and that of the local employers we can, over a period of time, ease the transitional problems.
