Tell Town Capers Robbie and Ronda were a popular duo at the annual musical sponsored by the Music Department. Jayne Luttrell is involved in a pantomine number. Jennifer Kuster made an appearance with “Somewhere, My Love” to kick off the evenings entertainment. Mr. Ashby directs the swing band during their performance. Black lights highlighted thebrillantly painted poster in the background. 27

SPANISH CLUB OFFICERS: Gail DuPre, George Reed, Dave Faulkenbcrg, Steve Gudorfand Debbie Evans. The Language Department was ex- panded this year with the addition of German to the curriculum. The newly formed German Club be- came a part of the language club pro- gram which already included the French French and Spanish clubs. A new concept of travel for the clubs brought varied money making projects. Club members sold light bulbs and suckers, raffled a television and checked coats at ball games to earn money for foriegn travel. After hours of work, the members realized their goals. During Easter vaca- tion French students toured Montreal Canada for four days while twenty- two Spanish students visited Mexico City for six days. The German stu- dents made plans for travel at a later date. These travels, the first of their kind at TCHS, helped the students better learn the language and customs of the countries.
