Drivers Ed. Hobby; Sports Destined to restore light to darkness, order to chaos, and hope to despair are those who may be favored with keener in- sight into the causes and consequences of human behavior. Those who hold an honest respect for the God-given rights of man and value proper concern for that in man which is eter- nal, offer the only real formula for the survival of the species. In a world of people contemplating momentous deci- sions, neurotic from fears, anxious about their success in a race toward human extermination, a reverence for the things eternal must be kindled in the hearts and minds of all who will hear and feel. Those truths we hold to be self-evident are often obscured by the greed of man. The dignity of the human being which elevates him to his superior rank among life forms requires restraint to insure rightful assumption of that honor. If the whole of mankind seems bent toward moral and spiritual degeneration, then who among the confused will at- tempt to perpetuate in the conscience of the individual the true values of existence? We make no claim of being so blessed as have been the great teachers throughout time. We hope only that in some small measure, as we relay knowledge and skills, we may in- fuse into the mind of a child understanding and an apprecia- tion of his proper relationship to his fellowmanandto his God.
