HOMECOMING ’81 The Junior class of 83 picked October 2 as the night of Homecoming 1981. The cheerleaders sponsored Spirit week. Among the activities were toga day, hillbilly day, picture day, North Adams nerd day, and of course, red and white day. Chosen to reign over the week's events were homecoming queen Verli Stefan and king Tony Jenkins. This year's homecoming opponent was North Adams. Unfortunately the Rams came out on top by a score of 33 to 8. Afterwards all students flocked to the gym for the traditional homecoming dance. Just Between You and Me was chosen as the theme. Northern Lights provided music as well as a light show. Appliances was chosen as the float theme this year. The Junior high took first with their mixer” while the seniors took second with a washer and third went to the sophomores for their iron.
