Cabaret ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’ The 1980-81 Student Council presented the annual Cabaret on March 21, to a packed gym. Mistress and master of ceremonies, Gloria Tetreault and Bob Wiescholek, dressed to fit the theme, “Circus, entitled The Greatest Show on Earth.” The Student Council made $700 from the tickets sold and the refreshments served during intermissions. Much time and effort was put into the Cabaret by the Student Council members, and their advisor, Mrs. Vilma Carlson, to put on a successful show. This Page: (Top) Master and Mistress of ceremonies, Bob Wiescholek and Gloria Tetreault sing the title song, Cabaret. (Right) Cindy Schafer shows her talents at both playing the piano and singing, performing The Rose. (Above) The stage band is shown playing one of the many songs they performed throughout the evening. Opposite Page: (Top Left) Disguised as pillow people are Joanna Lindquist and Buffie Groholski doing a dance to The Hokey Pokey. (Top Right) Terri Kempton stuns the crowd with her fine singing talents with the song, I Honestly Love You. (Bottom Right) Mickey Mouse, alias Laurie Duckett, brings out the youth in the crowd singing The Mickey Mouse Song and When You Wish Upon a Star. (Bottom Left) A surprise guest. Shawn Tetreault, dressed as a bear escapes from his cage to entertain the audience.

CAST: (Front) Victor Velasco (Sean Caaey), Mother (Linda cishen), delivery man (Jimmy O'Dell), Corie Bratter (Amber Warner). (Back) Telephone man (Tom Upaton), Director — Mrs. Carlene Zollner, Paul Bratter (Bob Wiescholek). Spring Play ‘Barefoot in the Park’ Mrs. Carlene Zollner directed another hit play, “Barefoot in the Park,” on March 12, and 13. Both nights had extremely good attendance. All actors put forth good performances both nights. Cast members, stage crew, make-up artists and set designers worked for two months perfecting every detail for the big nights. The play evolved around a newlywed couple who lived in New York City and were just starting their life together. With the help of an upstairs neighbor and a mother, they began to run into many problems. This year’s Drama award went to Bob Wiescholek.
