 I like this town. This is what Ruthy Jaime says about Tekonsha. Ruthy is a native of Santiago. Chile, a city of two million people. She has lived there all of her seventeen years. She is now living with the Clare Martinson family as an exchange student. Ruthy completed her high school education in Santiago in December of 1963. She was a student at the Liceo Experimental Manuel de Salas, an experimental school under the direction of the University of Chile. Ruthy speaks English very well, but until now has never spoken it outside the classroom. Ruthy attends most all of the activities of the school, church, and community. During her stay in Tekonsha she has made many friends and actually become a part of the community. I am sure that after Ruthy returns to Chile in July she will miss her American friends as much as we will miss her. Ruthy is the first exchange student Tekonsha has had, and I know everyone has enjoyed having her with us for the past seven months.
