Senior Class History We embarked on our nigh school career as Freshmen with a total enrollment of thirty eight. The officers of the year were: President, Jean Williams, Vice- President, Carl McAteeg Secretary-Treasurer, Doris Wagner. The Student Council members from our class were: Jean Williams and Clarence Varner. Our initiation by the Sophomores was our introduction to high school., When be began our Sophomore year we had only twenty seven of the original class. Cur officers for that year wereg President, Don Taylorg Vice-President, Doris Wagner, Secretary, June Jordon, Treasurer, Ron Johnson. The Student Council members from our class were: Clarence Varner and Marcedes Groholske. The initiation which we gave the Freshrrien was our first fun fest. The beginning of our Junior year our enrollrnent dropped to twenty two. Our officers for the year were: President, Clarence Varner, Vice-President, Jean Williams Secretary, Marcedes Groholskeg Treasurer, Louis Tobolske. We chose our class rings in September and were pleased to receive them before Thanksgiving, so we could, enjoy wearing them for the rest of the year. In October we had a magazine sale. We made a total of S91.00. We chose our candidates for King and Queen for our Midwinter Carnival, which were Marcedes Groholske and Joe McFadden. Our Junior Play was Strictly Confidentia1 . The annual Junior-Senior Prom was given by us April 29. At last we entered our Senior Year. We have ZZ members in our class. Our officers for the year are President, Don Taylor, Vice-President, Irvin Groholske, Secretary, Joan Blashfield, Treasurer, Jean Williams. The Seniors in Government class set up a campaign for the election of Student Council officers. It was conducted as a official election. President Joe McFadden and Secretary Barbara Diamond were the candidates elected from our class. Our Senior Play was Here Comes Charlie . Everyone thought it a success. Mrs. Muriel Hayes was our play director both Junior and Senior years. Our D. A. R. Good Citizen Pilgrim is Eleanor Doolittle. Our sponsor is Mrs. Muriel Hayes. 10

Jean Williams-Al's wife. Jane Adams is going to marry a book worm when she's 50. Barbara Diamond-Farmer's wife. Martha Johnson is going to marry a handsome doctor. Bernice Wilkerson is going to marry a handsome college man. Audrey Taylor-A farmer's wife. Marcedes Groholske is going to be a housewife. Dorothy Thomas is going to Hawaii and be a hula-dancer. :Betty Upston is going to the North Pole and open an ice cream bar. Eleanor Doolittle is going to Alaska and serenade the Eskirnos with her accordian. Chester Goheen is going with Janice to New York and fly paper airplanes from the top of the Empire State Building. Ronald Johnson-Business man. Richard Varner is going to be a hot shot in the Marines. Clarence Varner-The one and only Lou Gehrig. lrvin Groholske is going to be in Gene Autry's show MULE TRAIN . Louie Tobolske-Truck driver. Donald Taylor-The next Gene Autry. Ernie Millard-The next Arthur Godfrey. Jacob Shank is going to be a trapper. Joe McFadden-Charlie Justice. Pat Carman-a handsome man's wife. ll
