Freshman C lass History There are twenty-eight students in our class. There were six boys that went out for football from our class this year. Our class was initiated by the Sophomore class September Z3, 1949. Our class officers were elected at our first class meeting. They are as follows: .Tack Hartley-President, Dale!Casebeer-Vice-President, Jane Diamond-Treasurer, Walter McFadden-Secretary, and Sue Stevens-Student Council representative and report CT. At the Halloween Carnival, October ll, our class sponsored the Hula Hula Dance, and Post Office Booth. At the Marcellus-Tekonsha football game, our class was in charge of the Concession Booth. The members that joined the basketball squad of our class are Dale Casebeer, Bill Baker, Bill Green, Maynard Doolittle, Charles Russell, .Tack Hartley, and Walter McFadden. Coach Taylor is our class advisor. Sophomore Class History At the first meeting of our Freshman class we elected class officers, President- Betty Omo, Vice-President-Earnest Shilling, Secretary-Barbara Patten, Treasurer- Ed Keller. Our class advisor was Mrs. Warwick. The Sophomore class gave us a fine initiation and party. At Halloween we had booths in the gyrn. All the proceeds of the Carnival went toward the remodeling of the gym. For Christmas we had a program in the assembly and exchanged gifts. We began our Sophomore year by electing our class officers which are, President- LeRoy Baker, Vice-President-Ed Keller, Secretary-Charlene Cox, Treasurer-Charles Doolittle. Our class advisor is Mrs. Warwick. We initiated the Freshrnen. They wore what we suggested them too. We had them dress like the characters in the Mother Goose rhymes. 16
