THE TDMAHAWK, l933 tliluaitiiip 'l'rusI'ees W. R. Powers, President R. F. llumfrey, Secretary ll. F. Griffin M. A. Garrison Geo. R. Burris IT is freqenutly said we need most to be reminded of the things which should be the most obvious. The trustees are a group of men who do a great deal for our school and cannot be too highly praised. Besides the immense practical services they render our school they are the moving spirits in the systematic management of it. This is but a small tribute we can pay them, and a small means of showing our sin- cere appreciation and gratitude. A111115 TWELVE

TIIE TUMAHAWK. l933 0ur School l . f' - ,, w . s i A c s s a r Q THE academic year 1932-'33 has again seen progress in the development of our school. Landscaping has been completed, a new driveway built and two tennis courts are now in the process of construction. All this adds greatly to the material attractiveness of our school. Our graduates who have been fortunate enough to attend higher in- stitutions of learning are doing well and aiding in keeping our school on the list of accredited high schools in California. Still better results will come in the future if further adjustments of curricula can be made in accordance with school and community needs and the abilities of teachers and pupils. A structure need not be expensive, as a school is principally what is carried on within its walls. Such a policy would be in keeping with both economy and educational improvements. L E
