STANDING: George Bolton, Steve Gordon, Dick Wildman, Andy Barnhart, Lowell McGlothin, Marvin Lair, and Dick Ross. OFFICERS What kind of program shall we plan for Homecoming this year? This question might very well have been spoken during a student council meeting this year, since almost every meeting begins with problems similar to this one. Along with the Home- coming festivities, student council mem- bers also planned the Christmas dance, Honor Day Banquet, and noontime ac- tivities. This organization is composed of one representative from each homeroom and is guided by Mr. W. J. Reynolds in planning for the welfare' of the students of Tecumseh. LEFT TO RIGHT: Janis Armstrong, Vice-President; Dick Wildman, Treas- urer: Dick Ross, President: and Mary Jane Staup, Secretary. 56

ORGANIZATIONS This road sign serves as a reminder of the purpose of Tecumseh's many active clubs and music and dramatic organizations. Like the motorist along the highway who sometimes makes a turn off the main highway, students are given an opportunity to explore ideas and gain experiences off the main highway of aca- demic learning through their extracurricular organizations. 55
