Varsity Basketball Team Gets New Coach KNEELING: Marvin Pflaumer, Bill Russell, Virgil Studebaker, Reiny Schiller, John Reynolds. STANDING: Larry Happel, Bill Monroe, Jack Hempstead, Bill Young, Lowell McGlothin, and Jim Stiers. The success of Tecumseh's 1960-61 basketball squad will be measured by the extent to which squad members carry forward the principles of good sportsmanship, co- operation and discipline that they learned as teammates coached by Tom Martin, former assistant basketball coach at Xenia Central. Despite the team's efforts, they were edged out many times by a few points and finished the season with a 7-11 record.
