Seven o'clock practices came awfully early, but the monotony of the afternoon sessions were disrupted by a change in facilities as the girls took to the playground slab. But nothing could have been more inspirational than the team spaghetti and movie party at Linda Ner Kerner's. the eve of the big game. Finally the day arrived. The team. State bound by 6 a m., feasted on spaghetti, pancakes, hamburger patties. scrambled eggs, ice cream, tea. and O.J. It's in the book! Although a good game was played by both the Indians and the Bridgeport 1st Ladies, unfortunately someone had to lose: more unfortunate was the fact that it was the Lady Indians. Tears became instant as the girls walked away from a 59-64 defeat. The end of the greatest girls basketball season in THS history was here. We re number one1
